By far my comfiest Crocs yet!
Ok so when I said Malindi were the most comfy Crocs I own...that was before my lovely husband presented me with a pair of Olivias for Valentines day!! Mailindi are certainly so comfy that you probably won't ever want to take them off BUT somehow the Olivia is even MORE comfy! They are slightly tighter fitting around the toes and the heel is every so slighlty thinner but they are still definitely even more dreamy...and like the other styles, they will mould to the shape of your foot so in theory they shouldn't rub anywhere (I've been wearing mine the past three days and happy to say no sore spots!).
Like the Malindi they don't make the 'farty' noise (unlike Alice and Prima styles that I also own) and they come with cute little diamonte Jibbitz to give a little bit of sparkle. I think you could probably take these off if you didn't like them though.
Just one other thing to note - beware of the colour shown on Amazon for Ultraviolet, which looks blue in the pic, but is actually a bright purple (check the Crocs website for a more accurate colour).
Bliss for hardworking feet
Without doubt the most comfortable shoes I have, and I have to walk miles on uneven cobbles for meetings. Soft, squishy and I can just about get away with them as an office shoe. Problem is I can't find any 'proper' shoes half as comfortable.
On sizing, they fit very well (a tolerant size five) and don't make farty noises as I gather some crocs shoes do. Thoroughly recommend - wish they did them with a slightly higher heel and I'd buy the stock!
Comfort --> Pain!
I bought the Oliva Crocs based on the great reviews for my work, which involves a lot of standing up and walking around, so comfort is an absolute priority.
My first impressions on opening the box was that they looked pretty good, except for the moulding line that runs all the way around the shoe. Unavoidable I suppose, so I set about testing out the comfort factor. The size is a good accurate fit, I always wear an 8 and the 8 in these fitted well with no gaping and they did have a feeling of walking on air about them. Having passed the comfort test, I packed them in my suitcase ready for their first working weekend.
All went well to begin with, but I was in a very hot country and before long my feet started sweating. I did get the occasional squelching noises that had been mentioned by other reviewers in relation to other Crocs, but nothing horrendous. However after several hours of moistness my feet started to become sore and the dimples on the inside started to feel like I was walking around with sand in my shoes and the sides of the straps began causing blisters. Even my little toes got blisters from the holes at the front!
To be completely fair to the shoes, I think my feet had probably swollen a bit with the heat, which probably didn't help and perhaps in a more 'British' climate they would be fine, but at the moment I have no plans to put these back on my feet and test out that theory for a while!
Three stars for the look and initial comfort. These would probably make a great shoe for day to day use but I'll definitely be keeping a pack of plasters handy next time I wear these.
